We have seven ponds to choose from in both the Platte Valley and the Laramie area that are exclusive to Stoney Creek. We fish a variety of dry flies, nymphs, and streamers to take advantage of the trout's different feeding activities throughout the day. A day on the ponds is a great way to learn fly fishing techniques or to test your ability at hooking and landing very large trout.
Monster Brooke Trout: We are pleased to be able to offer you a chance at trophy Brooke Trout. One of our newer ponds is producing Brooke Trout that average three to five pounds. These fish are wild fish that get into the ponds from the streams and grow to enormous proportions. These fish are not stocked!
